SNEAK PREVIEW - Versioning Control with Git & GitHub

A frightening number of people still email their code to each other, have dozens of versions of the same file, and lack any structured way of backing up their work for inevitable computer failures. This is both time-consuming and error-prone. In this workshop, we will introduce the concept of versioning control, and two industry standard tools for track changes (git) and to facilitate collaboration (GitHub). Attendees should bring their own computer for hands-on exercises.
